Chances are you have kissed the most kissed face in the world .But not the most photographed!

If you have been on a CPR course you have gone lip to lip with the nameless face of an unknown woman who death is a mystery.

A woman’s lifeless body was pulled from the Seine River in Paris in the late 19th century in an attempt to identify the lady a plaster cast was made of her face. Her beauty was captured forever and many stories emerged from a love triangle to murder and suicide.

Her mysterious death was never solved. In 1958 the Laedal Co, changed their production from children’s toys to making emergency devices and resuscitation dummies. In 1960 the first patented simulator was produced and now famous the world over and nicknamed Resuscitation Annie, or Rescue Annie

Around the world millions of people have be taught CPR on the image of a nameless girl who’s death remains a mystery.
